DESCRIPTION:California Association of Resource Conservation Districts \nhttps://carcd.org/ \nBackground: Supported by CAL FIRE and USFS State and Private Forestry\, CARCD in partnership with UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR) and American Forests (AF)\, are developing a CA forestry outreach plan to help organizations better reach underserved landowners. In Sep-Oct 2024\, they are hosting 3 workshops to facilitate conversations between organizations\, agencies\, and underserved forest landowner representatives on forest equity outreach in CA. \nPlease register now! \nThe first workshop is targeted towards entities working with private forest landowners and will be held on Sep 4th\, Wed\, 10-11:30AM\, please register here. \nThe second workshop will be targeted for landowners\, especially those qualifying as underserved and will be held on Sep 16th\, Mon\, 6-7:30 PM. CARCD will follow up with an email & would love your help forwarding on to landowners! \nThe third workshop will be held in-person\, location and time TBD\, please stay tuned for updates from CARCD.
