SUMMARY:California Wildfire Conference
DESCRIPTION:https://coastal-quest.idloom.events/californiawildfireconference \nCoastal Quest\, in partnership with Ventura County Wildfire Collaborative\, is proud to present the first California Wildfire Conference.  This three-day exchange will bring together a diverse community of wildfire practitioners to focus on understanding\, preventing\, and recovering from wildfires. The conference will be held from October 24-26\, 2023\, in Ventura County at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. \nParticipants are drawn from California\, Western US States\, and globally where wildfire and communities interface.  Attendees include local and national government agencies/leaders\, natural resource managers/landowners\, California Tribes\, community leaders/organizations\, and multi-sectoral collaboratives/councils. \nWe invite Firewise/Firesafe Councils and Collaboratives who are developing wildfire adaptation and mitigation plans and implementing solutions. This event will be open to 200 in-person attendees\, and select sessions will be recorded and shared after the conference.
